Tenor Giorgi Guliashvili was born in Georgia, where he completed his graduate studies before joining the Academy of Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, Italy. With the company, he performed both leading and supporting roles in Naples and toured in other European cities. He later pursued postgraduate studies at Yale University and participated in top American summer festivals, including the Music Academy of the West and the Merola Opera Program. Most recently, he won 1st place at the Gerda Lissner International Vocal Competition in March 2025.

In the summer of 2025 he will be making his Verbier Music Festival debut in Switzerland as Lensky in Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin. Guliashvili makes his Royal Opera Debut this season and becomes a member of the prestigious Jette Parker Artist Programme for the 2025-2027 seasons.
